There’s a bus parked at a corner as we approach. Cops are there too. I groan; bus calls are stupid.
Apparently a car rear-ended this bus a few blocks back in a hit-and-run. There is no discernible damage to the bus, as expected, because it was such a minor collision according to everybody. Nobody, without seat belts, even fell out of their seats, the crash was so minor.
The bus stopped for all the passengers to board another bus while this one went out of service. Well, all except one woman, who is now complaining of back pain, and she wants to go to the hospital. At least she didn’t board the bus after the crash and claim injuries, which is actually fairly common.
