A woman’s baby-daddy beats her up. This happens every day where I work. Actually, maybe every hour. Of course everybody wants the cops to arrest somebody but more often than not no one wants to press charges. Talk about wasting people’s time. And of course everybody wants to go to the ED for a black eye. Have I mentioned something about wasting people’s time yet?
Anyway, naturally this woman is upset, but it wasn’t for the reasons most people normally expect.
“I don’t need this mess. I just got out of jail for shooting my ex-boyfriend.”
