What if everyone was an EMT?

Do you think we’ll have way fewer cell phone warriors and man-down calls? Or do you think everyone will be holding C-spine on every single drunk guy on the sidewalk?

Speaking of C-spine, will everyone be holding everyone’s C-spine on every fender-bender they come across, or will everyone just be telling everyone what a bullshit wreck it is and to stop being a fucking pussy?

  1. If you want to reduce the number of drive by cell phonings, implement my proposal for a $100.00 surcharge on cell phone calls to 9-1-1. That would be waivable after review if the call turned out to be legit.

  2. I’d say more cell-phone warriors, if anything. I find up to a certain point (usually around the point of becoming employed in the field), the more training someone has, the more they want to use it. I’m no exception myself, my nephew bumps his head and I assess him for concussion!

…it distracts him enough to stop him crying. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😛
